Taiz governorate, turned into an open theater without a roof and no walls in which thousands of individual and ground Houthi mines of various kinds and with explosive devices of various shapes and sizes ran wild.

It is a heartbreaking scene that the supervisor of the Masam engineering teams in Taiz governorate and the leader of Masam team 22, Aref Al-Qahtani, spoke about in a special statement for Massam media office, where he indicated that the Houthi mines planted in a dense and random manner in the directorates of Taiz governorate caused the death and injury of more than 2154 civilians, of whom were killed 184 children and 384 children were injured, and the remaining list included a number of elderly and women.

As for this tragic situation, it tightened the pores of determination and directed to save people from this terror buried underground, Masam Team 22 who worked in Al-Waziya District, one of the largest directorates in Taiz Governorate, as this directorate is almost closed with rhythms, which forced the residents to flee in order to save themselves from the Hell of booby traps. Al-Waziya District lies in the middle of five other districts booby-trapped with mines and improvised explosive devices.

Here, Al-Qahtani separated this situation, considering that the Houthi mines planted in 82 residential areas in Al-Waziyah District caused the death and injury of more than 375 civilians, not to mention the material losses suffered by the local population as a result of planting mines in their homes and in the fields of sesame and sorghum that their farmers were proud of and support their families from their revenues, the militias have turned into dying fields.

Al-Qahtani noted that Team 22, Massam, was able during his tenure in the Al-Wazi’eya Directorate to secure civilian homes, roads, and a large number of their farms, to lighten the candle of hope in the hearts of citizens with the possibility of living again in their lands peacefully.

Engineer Aref Al-Qahtani indicated that the Masam project, represented by Team 22, has managed during the past two years to secure 30 schools, an educational center, 6 health centers, and a hospital. Masam was also able to open the main roads linking the directorate with Lahj and Aden governorates, and enabled relief organizations to deliver medical and relief aid to the local population.

Despite the achievement of the Masam project in Al-Wazi’iya district, which in a short period of time was able to restore back life to it’s land, thanks to which the fields of municipal sesame and white corn came to life again, Masam was also able to return joy to children’s features after securing their playgrounds and places of fun, and finally school students were able to carry their bags again and go to their schools.
However, the task of fully securing Al-Awaziyah from the militia mines still requires more effort and time.
Here, Masam experts continue to visit the district of Wazi’iya, which is described by the supervisor of the Masam engineering teams in Taiz and the leader of Team 22, Engineer Aref Al-Qahtani, as a historical and important visit, and added, Despite the hardships of the roads leading to Al-Waziya, which pass through the valleys and plains of the Sabiha district in the Lahj governorate, and up through the more rugged mountain heights, Masam’s experts overcame all these difficulties and were able to reach Al-Waziyah as a clear evidence of the determination and willingness of the Masam project represented by its management and all its affiliates to move forward in achieving their noble humanitarian goal to save Yemenis and secure their lives from the danger of mines to reaffirm that this blessed land worth to live.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_widget_sidebar show_bg=”false” sidebar_id=”sidebar_1″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1523980243435{background-color: #bfbfbf !important;border-radius: 20px !important;}”][vc_column css_animation=”slideInLeft” width=”1/6″ css=”.vc_custom_1524347545394{background-color: #a3a3a3 !important;border-radius: 15px !important;}”][vc_column_text] News [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”5/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_single_image source=”featured_image” img_size=”full” alignment=”right” css=”.vc_custom_1524156224953{margin-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1602011060022{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;background-color: #b5b5b5 !important;border-radius: 15px !important;}”]18 districts in Taiz governorate, turned into an open theater without a roof and no walls in which thousands of…

[18

post-17273","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-18","description-off
["GET
